A Day in El Gamalia

The project was produced with the support of the Madad foundation. Its purpose was to gather children and teenagers from the historical neighborhood of Al Gammalia in Central Cairo, and guiding them in the process of documenting a day in their lives through photography.

The young artists' pictures were showcased in two widely attended exhibitions. I gifted them the cameras at the outcome of the project so that they could continue honing their skills.
